  1. Legal advice and strategic consultation is by telephone only.
  2. The starting date is the date you first sign up for the service and pay the membership fee.
  3. To schedule a personal consultation, you must telephone or email this office: stating your name, telephone number and email address where you can be reached, a brief description of the nature of your problem, and provide 3 different dates and times when you can be reached by telephone. We will contact you within two (2) business days to confirm the appointment or to provide the consulting service.
  4. Consultations are charged in unit increments of fifteen (15) minutes each. If the consultation goes over one unit, an additional unit of time (i.e., 15 minutes) will be charged.
  5. When you have used up all of your units of time under your then current plan, you understand and agree that you will be billed at DWE's billing rate of $350 per hour, less the applicable discount rate under your plan.
  6. In the alternative to #5 above, you may decide to increase the amount of time available for consultation services by upgrading to a higher plan by paying the price difference between your current plan and the new plan. The additional amount of time will be the difference between the old plan and the new plan. However, the expiration date of your membership will remain the same as under the original plan that you had signed up for.
  7. The purpose of the membership fee is to secure availability for our consulting services. The membership fee is not a deposit and is not refundable.
  8. Any unused consultation time lapses on the one year anniversary of the membership sign up date. There is no carry over of unused time to the following year. A new membership fee must be paid to renew the service.
  9. For Levels 3 & 4, you may schedule a brief office consultation where some documents can be reviewed at that time. The review of documents will be charged at the same rate as consultations.
  10. You understand and acknowledge that DWE makes no representations or guarantees as to the outcome of your matter and any comments we may make are only expressions of our opinions.
  11. Membership is for the limited purpose of providing consultation services only and is not to be construed as an agreement for DWE to provide other services. Due to the limited scope and nature of the professional services, no attorney-client relationship is being created by this membership. Any other professional and/or legal services contemplated by the parties must be agreed to in writing and the signing of a new fee agreement.
  12. Due to the short-term and limited nature of the professional services to be provided, it is not possible for DWE to systematically screen all known and unknown conflicts of interest that may come up during the course of the consultation. As such, you have been informed, understand and waive all known and unknown conflicts of interest that may come up during the course of the limited professional services provided to me.
  13. In the event you require additional services that cannot be completed in the time allocated under your subscription agreement, then a new fee agreement will have to be agreed to and signed by all the parties involved along with payment of the required deposit.
